According to local business owner and founder of the Simsbury Farmers Market, Sherri Flaminio “The goal of our market is to provide a central place where people can find and purchase almost anything that is grown within the state of Connecticut. We are a producer only market, so our farmers grow their own. This means the consumer is able to obtain the safest and freshest foods available. The Simsbury Farmers Market is a community centered market where people can socialize, visit with and ask questions to the growers, learn how to enhance their health, enjoy live music and participate in activities. The market is 100% volunteer run and it is free to attend”.
